If you've never owned a pair of composite toe boots, you're in for a real surprise with these. Composite materials used in safety footwear are 30% lighter than traditional steel, and yet it does not compromise on safety.
Like all of our steel toe capped models, these composite boots can withstand 200 joules of impact and 1.5 tonnes of compression; that's more than enough to keep you protected in all but the most extreme cases. The mid sole is made from Kevlar - the substance used in bullet proof vests - giving even more protection from sharps underfoot.
While the infrastructure of this boot is compatible with steel, their lighter weight mean that they can be used for a whole range of activities outside of work, including hiking and other sports, with little concern regarding fatigue. The water resistant and breathable fabrication, twinned with the composite's greater resistance to heat and cold, also work to keep the inside of the boot as dry and pleasant as when you first put them on in the morning.
